Ghanshyam Rice Mill
ABOUT US

A Journey Shaped by Experience, Responsibility and Growth

Ghanshyam Rice Mill began in 1991 and has grown into a larger rice-processing operation with greater production, storage and milling capacity, supported by modern machinery and a strong network of farmers. In 2017, we expanded further with a larger facility built to handle growing requirements and wider distribution across India. Along with this growth, we have continued to invest in responsible and sustainable ways of operating, while staying focused on improving the way we process, store and supply rice.

Ghanshyam Rice Mill, Krishna Tulsi, Rice

KRISHNA TULSI

A name that carries our rice into markets across India.

Krishna Tulsi is our own rice brand, created to bring the rice we process and pack under a name that represents our mill in the market. Over the years, the brand has reached distributors, retailers and customers across different parts of India, carrying a range of rice varieties for different requirements. For us, Krishna Tulsi is more than a name on the bag - it is our identity on the product and the name under which we stand behind what we supply

Our Journey Through the Years

What began in Khambhat in 1991 has grown through each new chapter from expanding our milling capabilities to investing in cleaner energy and strengthening our operations. Each stage has added something to the business : greater capacity, better technology, wider reach and a more responsible way of operating.

WAREHOUSING & STORAGE

Storage on Rent

For rice and other suitable goods

Our warehousing infrastructure extends beyond the requirements of our own rice mill. With five large godowns, we offer storage facilities on rent to traders and businesses that need space for rice and other goods. As this part of our business continues to develop, we are planning eight additional godowns to accommodate larger storage requirements and serve more customers. Our aim is to make our warehousing facilities available to businesses that need dependable storage space, whether for seasonal requirements or ongoing operations.

Business We Supply

From larger institutional buyers t smaller retail businesses, every relationship has helped extend the reach of our rice into new markets

Investing in a Sustainable Future

As the mill has grown, we have also looked at where we can reduce our dependence on conventional energy. Our 700 kW solar power system now allows us to use renewable energy as part of our day-to-day operations. Our efforts also extend beyond the mill. Through plantation carried out each year, we continue adding trees to the land around us and doing something practical for the environment in which we operate.

The Capability Behind Our Production

Over the years, we have continued to strengthen the infrastructure behind our operations-investing in advanced milling machinery, Sortex technology, boiler systems, dedicated cleaning and grading, extensive storage, and flexible packing capabilities to handle larger volumes while maintaining control throughout production

Our Standards & Certifications

Our operations are supported by the necessary registrations, certifications and regulatory approvals that form part of running a responsible rice-processing business. From food safety requirements to manufacturing practices and environmental compliance, these standards help us maintain an organised and accountable operation.
